Rosa Parks: During a tough time, Rosa Parks stood up to racist people. She helped stop segregation. These racist people made her sit in the back of the bus, but Rosa did not want to. She said no, even knowing the consequences she might face. For example, she did get sent to jail for her actions. Rosa Parks inspires me because she does what is right even if there are consequences. Finally, she is an important woman in history because she contributed significantly to ending segregation.
