The Perfect Policy for Poverty in the Lives of Children
Poverty is everywhere. Whether we see it or not, it is always there and is always ignored. So many people suffer from lack of money, basic necessities, health facilities, education,etc. There are many aspects of poverty and in my opinion, the most important aspect is that of the lives of children. They are the future and if the future is undernourished in various ways, the future indeed looks bleak.
They are forced to work from a young age for the wellbeing of their family, and don’t get the chance to study; the chance to have a better future is snatched away before it is even introduced to them. Their lives lack basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter, giving them such a poor quality of life, it is nearly pointless for them to live such a hard life. We all know this, yet we do nothing about this majorly ignored issue. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Hence, there has to be an effective solution for this.
I call it “The Future-Giving Convenience Policy”, a policy which ensures children get everything they need for the perfect future. This policy provides well-facilitated government schools that are day-cum-residential, with good food available for free as well as higher education options available for very low prices. AI also plays a major role in this policy; with the help of AI, we can reach out to children and give them a chance to survive in the ever-changing world. It can also help make their learning more effective.
This is, of course, not a real policy but I hope that this reaches the government and that it can be put into action. Awareness isn’t going to change anything; we have to do something about this.
