“Neerja Bhanot”<\/p>\n

Her sacrifice cannot be explained in words. I am inspired by the life of 23 year old Neerja Bhanot came to an end as she was shot to death while saving three children from a hijacker, but her dedication and selfless sacrifice became one of the inspirational stories of real life heroes. Neerja helped a number of passengers escape. So, she can well be called as the heroine of the hijack. She was the first female recipient of getting the Ashoka chakra award, she never gave up on her goals and her brave mind helped her to think about safety of passengers during the hijacking. Her sacrifice inspired generations of Indian citizens and me as well to be courageous when we face a problem.<\/p>\n
